It
is with great pride the Board of Directors invites you to the Fourth Annual ICON
convention on October 3, in North Platte, NE at the Holiday Inn Express Convention
Center.
GREAT
SPEAKERS, VITAL NEWS, OPPORTUNITIES TO MEET REPRESENTATIVES AND INDUSTRY EXPERTS,
FELLOWSHIP, FOOD, AND FUN! The
registration table will open at 8:15 a.m. The mornings schedule includes
once again the State Senators Roundtable discussion followed by a
presentation from GB Oliver of the Paragon Foundation, talking about individual
rights.
Over the noon luncheon served at the Holiday Inn, a representative will
speak from the US Cattlemens Association.
This
will lead into a very strong afternoon presentation beginning with Bill Bullard,
president of R-CALF USA. Mike Schultz, R-CALF USA member, on Animal Health.
They will be followed by J. Dudley Butler, recent appointee as the administrator
of the Grain Inspection Packers and Stockyards Administration Act (GIPSA-USDA),
a member of R-CALF USA and also OCM.
A business meeting for all members present will begin following Dudleys
presentation. This will lead into a Social Hour and evening banquet, also
in the Holiday Inn Banquet Center. The evening entertainment this year will be
Georgeann Wearin, cowgirl poet and comedian from Hyannis. A
silent auction will be conducted during the day-long event as an additional
fundraiser for ICON including the Jim Hanna Memorial Scholarship. DINNER:

take a $10 can be taken off the registration fee.) *Additional guests

For the first time this year, the Directors are inviting ICON members to help
garner sponsors for the ICON organization. For each $100 sponsorship a member
collects, a member will receive one free admission to the convention. Deadline
for these sponsor names will be Friday, Sept. 18. Members will still be responsible
for the $20 fee for the evening prime rib dinner. |
